Show Notes

Episode Synopsis

The gang’s all here this week as the Hack or Slash team analyzes the highs and lows of the latest Pet Sematary adaptation. The group debates whether or not the film was successful in its wielding of emotion, contemplates the gravity of mortality, and assesses its success against its source material. Dan and Leah also school the group on the inevitable doom that awaits us in the form of Africanized Killer Bees. Upon further research, they’re not so bad. Maybe.

This episode is also dedicated in memory of Jack, a lovely stray cat who found a home in the heart one of our listeners. Jack was a quintessential good boy who enjoyed naps in the sunshine. He epitomized undemanding and unconditional companionship, and will always be remembered in the hearts of those who cared for him. R.I.P. This episode contains spoilers.
